Brighten up your veggie patch with violas and pansies – ready to plant
There’s been a rush on seeds, seedlings and edible plants with nurseries selling out across Australia. We hopped to it over Easter and have been busy planting and potting to help eager gardeners grow their own. The good news is we now have an Abundance of seedlings for keen growers and families.
“Rocket, broccoli, cauliflower, sugar snaps, lettuce, asian greens, tomato, cabbages, capsicum, eggplant and more. Our ‘ready to eat now’ herbs and edible flowers are all sun hardened and full of goodness!”
Chief Horticulturist John Van Der Lay
Plant now and enjoy homegrown vegetables, fruit and herbs. Incorporate some gardening into your home-school curriculum and the whole family can reap the rewards.

Great news for garden centres
Graham Ross host of The Garden Clinic radio show recently spoke with the Honourable David Littleproud, Federal Minister for Agriculture who confirmed Garden Centres can remain open. Listen in here:
Hon Littleproud confirmed Garden Centres and Gardening is essential for everyone’s mental well-being.
“So many people have rediscovered Gardening and it’s going to help us get through this self-isolation. I think that you’ll find that we will see a lot of our nurseries stay open.”
Hon David Littleproud MP
The show talks about returning to back to basics during isolation and enjoying your garden. Since social distancing started an incredible 8.5 million punnets of seedlings and veggies have been purchased in Australia.
